How can i make the ends of my long sleeve shirt clean without fading it?

The ends to my long sleeve alternative shirt which is a mustard yellow color is dirty, is there a way i can make them look cleaner without making the shirt label fade.

Scrub some Dawn dish soap into the dirty parts (sounds like something else but I mean on the sleeves!) And let that sit around for maybe a half an hour or so. Then wash the shirt as usual.
