How does one calculate miles when running without a pedometer and equipment?
Iam going to start Boxing and will begin to condition myself for 10 mile runs. However I want to know if there is such way as being able to calculate miles while running without equipment like pedometer and without knowing how far away the end destination is from start.Is there a trick to finding out distance ran without information and equipment this that people who do running sport know off?
BTW, I mean in random terrain, not in a calculated area like a Trackfield.Basically running from home to store or running randomly in a street you don't know.
I use this site called Map My Run that lets you map out places like that. Its fairly easy to get the hang of, and as far as I know really accurate.
